This is a message from Fran Tobin - Skerries Chamber of Commerce.

It gives me great pleasure to announce today that the St Patrick's Day
Parade will now go ahead under the chamber banner with Myself and
Paula along with support from Loughshinny MC, a hand full of
concerned locals/Business and Mayor Ciaran Byrne.

We had a number of issues which we are now glad to say
have been resolved and we can continue with this great event.

We have one issue which needs to be support by you the individual.
We need 40 Stewards on the day for the insurance and health and safety issues
This will be the only thing that would stop the parade from going ahead. 
We have had a number of people coming forward but we need more.

if you can assist on the day we will be holding a final meeting in the Bus Bar
Skerries on Monday 15^th March at 8pm for the final preparation for the day.

We would ask that you let as many people know
that this fantastic event will now proceed.
